Welcome to the website of the WEUSI Artist Collective, a historic Black artists' collective founded in 1965 during the Civil Rights movement and rooted in African-centered art, cultural affirmation, and community. Today, Weusi stands as witness, participant, and provocateur in the ongoing expression of Black life: historical, modern, and future-facing. We are a living archive, a cultural compass, and a bridge between generations.
